Therapy at Mindful Life Connections

Healing is not one-size-fits-all. At Mindful Life Connections, therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed, with attention to the mind, body, nervous system, relationships, identity, and lived experience.

Rather than asking you to fit into a particular therapeutic model, we draw from different approaches to support what you need in this season of your life.

Who I Work With

A space where you don’t have to leave parts of yourself outside the room.

Mindful Life Connections provides individual psychotherapy for adults, with particular attention to the experiences of women of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Care is affirming and responsive to the ways culture, identity, relationships, family, spirituality, systems, and lived experience can shape mental health and healing.

Life Transitions & Self-Reconnection

Support during periods of change, uncertainty, relationship transitions, shifting identities, or when the life that once fit no longer does.

Stress, Depression & Emotional Exhaustion

Explore patterns of depletion, disconnection, low mood, burnout, and the experience of carrying too much for too long.

How Therapy May Look

Therapy shaped around you.

Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may incorporate:

Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy • Somatic Therapy • EMDR-Informed Interventions • Mindfulness • Internal Family Systems-Informed Work • Polyvagal-Informed Practices • Cognitive & Behavioral Approaches • Grief Support

These approaches are not used as a rigid formula. Together, we consider what feels appropriate, supportive, and meaningful for you.

Sometimes beginning therapy simply means recognizing that the way you’ve been carrying things is no longer working for you. We can begin there.
